This month FM headed into the Swiss Alps to track down the rising star of Trance Sean Tyas. We spent the day in his studio as he took us through the basic process of making a remix and explained some key elements to his most popular tracks.

The Mix is the most elusive part of the voice. It creates a smooth transition between the chest voice (bottom) and the head voice (top) which enables singers to reach their full potential. Ninety percent of singers experience some kind of break-flip or disconnect between these two qualities.

The original Mk1 Clarinet that was discontinued but re-introduced for Puremagnetik's Microtron series.
