i am watching "fader pro music no theory" (available on here) to learn about music

these sort of crazy insta-music devices usually get in the way of learning anything.

think of it as a book. however, you will get the most out of it if you know the basics of music. By the way, those who do not even know the basics of music are wasting their time even trying to create music, hence, what they "compose" is not music.

I think it's a great tool building harmonies in a piano roll,
using only one note to trigger a chord.

If you program your harmonies by hand it takes more time.
After that you have to correct/quantize your play and again leave some time behind you.

If you know harmonies, this is a adequate tool to speed up your music production.

Some beginners sure profit too.

Only if you learn to play keyboard, you'll better stay off it.

I can get the app to work but it does not control the midi outputs and produce polyphonic chords from single notes?
