Not an official AIR/AiRISO release .... AIR/AiRISO did NOT release Ableton 8.1 yet !!!
It's a bullshit release from a wanker who added v8.08 auth file to 8.1 exe .... CRAP !!!
DONT DOWNLOAD !!!

yep...i also think that this one is a fake release, as this one is not even posted on any other audio warez sites.
And mostly these other sites are faster...since they are torrent ones.
So don't download this one here.

28.07.2009This is fishy... Not only can't you authorize, I've heard you can't even roll back to any older version. Say bye buy to AbeLive forever!! I suspect the devs are behind this fake build. Once you have a stable version that's *just working* stick with it and avoid temptation of further minor updates. DAW itself is awesome though.

trz303, I didn't say " this" is minor did I? It's obvious from the ver. # isn't it? I was just saying how to cope with the "frequently updated" bug (if I am allowed to say that  ) of this superb DAW. Was answering to guitarplayer2007. And Ableton's business strategy is starting to annoy me.

I agree Calcatian,both 8.04 and the update 8.0.9 work fine and its just not worth updating now until v9 is out as far as im concerned.
