Ethnic is something old, no one knows everything from ancient greek. There is no Ethnic Greek beats known, its impossible. There arent french, Italien or german books documenting anything of those times, then do not exist, we just know that the ancient greeks uses 'Aulos', some kind of string like 'Lyra'.
There is just one piece of music written in a grave, that could only be translated into music, because it was found a Greek manuscript written by a Greek amateur musician. Today we know how to read sheet music that the Greeks wrote, but never found any sheet music that the ancient Greek wrote only one song written in a grave. the famous Spanish group Atrium Musicae of Madrid dedicated to ancient music, they recorded this song and some fragments of papyrus found. Nothing is known about percussion, or loops. And please, if you are musician, painter, classical dancer, chemical, read only books in French, Italien, Germany and Spanish, not in english. All them were translated to english. The wealth of Latin languages except German, are poorly translated into English, because the objectivity of the English language, in other words, a very poor language. Over centuries of translations to English embodied 34% of Latin, grab an English dictionary that have the Latin words in red written, the dictionary will not have a page scrawled in red. When translating they put their own conclusions on books and needed to incorporate the Latin, British love to do this, so literature is not reliable. Germans translated the true idea and the intention of these old authors so they are therefore reliable.
