This CD from the Emulator Classic Series (Volume 3) offers Solo Strings, Solo Brass, Woodwinds, Grand Piano, and Orchestral Percussion.

NOTE: THIS IS AN EMU SAMPLING CD AND DOESN'T CONTAIN WAV FILES OR SIMILAR!
To access these samples, you'll need to use them with the real machine, NI Kontakt or convert them with a sample converter. Your reward for this work is a collection of old skool samples sounding a lot more different from today's loop collection stuff. A thorough collection of sample converters can be found here:
