some people reported that keygen made by TSRH team has a Trojan. Even though my KAV shows nothing and i'm completely confident in it, you don't have to use the keygen if you have suspicions. just use this to register:

there's no viruses in my files. i have them on my backup, everything is scanned with latest Kaspersky AVP. If it's says it's safe, forget about any other AVP.

Windows 7? Is that some future operating system? Some of us are still using XP and everything is fabulous. And I've never used or needed antivirus software because I have the best software on earth .. my mind.

the only reason you are getting virus warnings is because the software makers pay the antivirus companies to flag them as such! If you are worried go and pay for the softs otherwise sandbox or have faith in your ability to be able to deal with a virus. I've never had any issues in 10 years.

What bigboobs said. Sysinternals utilities do everything you need, plus Piriform CCleaner and Defraggler. I would also mention NirSoft utilities that are small and do a lot of stuff simply and efficiently. But if you use Win7 for music, you don't like to do stuff simply and efficiently anyway. LOL Like Quick Search tool that is 3MB?!?! Reaper is 4MB ffs! I use NirSoft's search tool that is 50Kb, man. It's a stupid search tool! 3MB! Who gives a rat's fart about it being free! They should give all their software for free, if all their programs are bloated crap like that. Windows search is quite good anyway when it comes to search tools. People do terrible programs these days. So much buggy and bloated code. It disgusts me.

Thanks for the virus, too. LOL Mr. expert. I don't use any antivirus proggies and never have them. I can bet you do use it and you still have viruses. So much for computer intelligence... ahhh just use your iPhone. LOL

Sorry, I needed to vent. I go berserk whenever I hear about Win7 in combination with DAW, and about useless, stupid tools that are bigger than a few hundred KB. Ask *me* if you need fast and efficient tools that work blazingly fast, and ask *me* if you need to optimise your system for audio. First install XP... then just do a few tricks and that's it. It's not really rocket science and everybody who "optimises" their systems too much through the registry, or using, god forbid, those stupid tools that promise some kind of speed is just losing their time, and you can only screw up the system that way. All that's needed is to turn off all the GUI gimmicks, unnecessary services, and install the RIGHT drivers, which is not always the latest. Use DCP latency tool to check that, and that's usually it... it's also a great idea to install as little programs as possible, or install those who don't clutter the registry, as that is quite important for keeping the Windows up to speed.

people saying that win 7 for DAWs isnt a good choice knows not much about nothing ;)
even if you are usin win xp with pae you still wont be able to run for example kontakt 64 bit...
win xp isnt supported anymore - or? so not quite a professional choice then!
win xp 64 bit isnt compatible with anything - so forget that too..no time to waste for vista.
win 7 64 bit is a good choice - latest OSX with RME babyface usb device and with a lowlatency down to 15 buffers is nice - linux can even bring lower latencies then OSX but still not so handy ;)

so - no reason to get agressive :)
may any one know which win 7 ultimate 64 bit "release" is most recommended for DAWs ?

I run ANY, say again, ANY plugin, standalone, DAW, audio edit prog, or whatever modern music or audio software (include here any project with whatever number of tracks) in my mid range Sony Vaio laptop with Win7 64bit Home Premmium with SP1, and I don't mind of any F***ing "virus" since I dont use any resource-hungry-pin-in-the-ass-updates anti vir, instead I use Deep Freeze. I've been doing so since win7 arose, never had any issue not even a tiny glitch -at least not related to windows but rather to the sometimes lame audio soft-....and yes WinOptimizer ROCKS!!!.... thanks SAiNT and fuck the haters!!!
